A massive earthquake hit Nepal on 25 April and 12 May, 2015 killing more than 9,000 people; injuring thousands and leaving thousands of people homeless. The photographs from Bhaktapur were taken the same day (25 April) where couple of monuments fell down to ground in front of my eyes. I witnessed the horrific scene of people screaming, injured people, collapsed building & monuments. It was a total chaos.
In the same album, you can see the photographs from Laprak village, Gorkha which was near to one of the epicenters of the earthquake. We flew there by helicopter carrying food supplies & tarpaulins (approx. 3,000 kgs). The whole village was devastated by the earthquake & the scene here was no different than Bhaktapur. I would say it was even worse.
